Lake Wales High School Student Art for WSC's 40th Anniversary

The art works you see on this page are by students from Lake Wales Senior High School. The pieces are a result of our invitation last fall to area art students to provide themed art in celebration of the college’s 40th anniversary. We want to thank Billie Lee, Art Instructor at Lake Wales High and the students in her Painting I class for their contribution. The students viewed scenes of campus buildings, structures and landscapes to produce their works. You may view the original exhibit in the lobby of the Pontious Learning Resource Center. Painting I Course Description: A second level advanced course in the study of drawing and painting, including but not limited to the study of composition in drawing, painting and design. Materials include ink, felt tip pens, pencils, oil base pastels, watercolor, tempera and acrylic paint.
