  • Ph.D. in Religion, Duke University (Durham, North Carolina), 1993 with the Major in Hebrew Bible and Semitic Languages, and Minors in Anthropology and the History of Judaism.
  • M.A. in Religion, School of Theology, Anderson University (Anderson, Indiana), 1978 graduated with Academic Honor with the Major in Biblical Studies.
  • B. A., Anderson Univesity (Anderson, Indiana), 1975 graduated cum laude with the Major in Religious Studies, and Minors in History and Psychology.
MINISTRY EXPERIENCE:
  • Pastor, Asbury Park First Church of God, Raleigh, North Carolina, 1980-1986.
LEADERSHIP ROLES:
  • Instructor at Pastor In-Service Training, Mandeville, Jamaica, 1989, 1990, 1994, 1996, and 1998.
  • Leader in various Youth Conferences, Singles Conferences and Church Retreats
