Purpose
Our aim is to meet the church's needs and expectations for professional ministry, by preparing students:
- To recognize their constant need to learn and grow in Christ.
- To be self-aware of their gifts and callings.
- To own a balanced, evangelical, holiness theology and be strongly committed to Biblical truth and authority.
- To exercise practical ministry skills effectively.
- To live with integrity as representatives of Jesus Christ.
Philosophy
We believe:
- God calls persons into ministry.
- Those who are called must be equipped by the Holy Spirit, through His grace and gifts.
- The Holy Spirit has gifted certain people, i.e. pastors, teachers, evangelists, to equip persons for ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-16)
- The called must, "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved by him, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly explaining the word of truth." (II Timothy 2:15)
Therefore:
Our professors, gifted by the Holy Spirit, and trained in their field, have accepted the challenge to be equippers of the called, in order to prepare leaders for the 21st century.
