Formal admission into a major in the Physical Education Department should be sought in the Sophomore year.
Admission is provided through a formal application submitted during the semester in which the student will reach 60 hours.
For admission to a major in the department, the student will:
- Meet the admissions requirements for attending Warner University.
- Have a grade of C or better in ENG 1010, and ENG 1020.
- Have a grade of C or better in MAT 1030 or higher.
- Complete the departmental application, declaring the major track at that time.
- Complete at least 60 credit hours during the term when applying or transfer to Warner University with Junior or Senior status.
- If selecting Physical Education Teacher Education, meet all requirements for admission and retention of the Teacher Education Department.
- Be recommnded by the department and approved by the Dean of Arts and Science.
