Transfer - Apply for Admission
Warner Southern College will review applications from students transferring from 2-year and 4-year institutions. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. For an application to be reviewed, a student should submit:
- Application to Apply to Warner Southern or submit paper application, click here
- Official transcripts from all previous institutions attended, sent directly from each institution
- Official high school transcript for those who have completed less than 24 credits in college at time of application
- Transfer Student Reference Form received from last institution attended, click here
- Report of Social Standing Form received from last institution attended, click here
- International transfer students must also submit Certification of Finances form
To be admitted to Warner Southern, a student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 from previous institutions attended.
Apply for Financial Aid
WSC will review all students for financial assistance who submit the following documentation:
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
WSC code for the FAFSA is 008848 and FAFSA is available at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Priority review date for financial assistance is April 1st for the fall semester.
Priority review date for financial assistance is November 1st for the spring semester.
Transfer Scholarships
Students are considered for scholarships when their application is reviewed by the Admissions Office. Scholarships are based on college GPA and range from $2,000 to $4,500 yearly. Scholarships are renewable for students who maintain satisfactory academic progress.
Transfer Credit Evaluation
WSC will review coursework from any regionally accredited college or university that is part of a liberal arts/general education curriculum for transfer credit. The evaluation is done at the time of admission and is mailed to the student 5-7 business days after acceptance. All courses taken at previous institutions along with the grades will become part of the Warner Southern transcript. Only 72 credits from lower-division or two-year colleges will be able to transfer towards degree requirements. A student must take at least 48 credits in residence.
