Camp STEM is committed to demonstrating how STEM (Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering, and Mathematics) works in the real world by providing hands on activities.
Camp STEM is taking place on Warner’s campus over the next two weeks.

David Lockett is an Aerospace, Engineering, and STEM Teacher, and was recently appointed to the (NSTA) National Science Teachers Association Aerospace Advisory Board.

Week One:

Curiosity, creativity and innovation come alive at STEAM Week. Immersed in STEAM experiences, campers create, design, build, experiment, program, paint, compose and perform. All while working with like-minded peers led by experienced educators with backgrounds in engineering, science and the arts. STEAM week projects are hands-on, introspective, and collaborative.
Cost: $99 includes all materials, light snacks and water
Ages: 5-12 (Grades K-6)
Limited to 25 students

Week Two:

Campers will use LEGO We Do 2.0 products to make alligators that chomp and monkeys that move! They engage in hands-on learning experiences with rockets, Ozobots, Sphero programming, kitchen chemistry, solar and 3D projects, lava lamps, and engineering design process challenges. Activities focus on problem solving, project based learning, and scientific inquiry.
