Thirteen top corporations in America are coming to Warner University for the Career and Community Resource Fair on Wednesday, February 3rd. Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from companies like Geico Insurance, Enterprise, Florida’s Natural, State Farm, along with nine other businesses, and get a feel for what it would be like working for national brand companies in the local area.
“In past events, Warner has found that our currently enrolled students, as well as alumni, benefit from being connected to local businesses,” said dean of students Dawn Meadows.
Many students are looking forward to this event.
“It’s a great opportunity to find potential jobs. Many college students don’t know what they are going to do once they graduate, so this is a great way for us to find a path after college,” said Warner undergraduate junior, Emilio Giler.
The confirming businesses that Warner will be welcoming include: Legoland, State Farm Insurance, Geico Insurance, Florida’s Natural, Westgate Resorts, Enterprise, Seminole Pride Noble Juice, Davey Tree, GC Services, Polk County Sheriff’s Department, U.S. Army, Oakley Transport, and the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches.
The event will be held at the Rigel Center on Warner’s campus on Wednesday, February 3, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The community is welcome to the event.
