Warner University hosted a special Communion Chapel as a way for students, faculty, and staff to participate in the Lord’s Supper. Professor Tyler Benbow delivered a sermon on bringing ‘mess’ to the Lord.
Benbow talked about how a person cannot clean up their mess and then come to God, because God wants his followers to bring their mess to him, so that he may make them clean.
“Christ welcomes the mess,” Benbow stated. “The Lord’s table is messy, and Christians partake in communion, so that we may humbly bring our mess, and ask Jesus to clean it.”
Following the message, students who chose to participate in communion were led by Dr. Timothy Dwyer.
