Farm Credit of Central Florida has awarded its first annual scholarship to a deserving student in Warner University’s Agricultural Studies Program. This inaugural gift was given to the student chosen based on an essay, grade point average, and resume. Rising Ag Senior, Miss Tabitha Rowell from Fort Meade, was chosen as the recipient.
Tabitha is actively involved in the Collegiate FFA chapter and acts as the incoming vice president. She is an outstanding student that has represented Warner’s program well. Tabitha works with her dad at Sunshine Grower’s Nursery in Fort Meade in the production aspect of the nursery.
Tabby was awarded $1,000 for the Fall semester from Farm Credit of Central Florida. In her essay she wrote “Attending Warner has truly been a blessing. Not only am I able to follow my dreams by pursuing a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, I am able to attend a Christian based college, that offers an amazing agricultural program that is truly one of a kind.”
We are excited about the opportunities that our students have as they are prepared to impact agriculture here at home and around the world.
