As Dean of Students, I’m excited to present this write-up presented by Student Life staff member, Alicia Bush, highlighting this week’s Pep Rally! Our office is so enthusiastic about this event … take time to read Alicia’s take on it!
Warner University students and alumni will come together this weekend to celebrate the school’s homecoming festivities. At the core of the weekend’s events will be a pep rally that immediately follows the Warner women’s home volleyball game Friday night.
Men’s Resident Director, John Myer, is the student life representative tasked with heading the committee of students, faculty and staff who are planning the Pep Rally. “At 8 p.m. fans will enjoy a good old American cookout,” says Myer. “The Pep Rally officially begins at 8:30 p.m. with an hour full of cheers, highlighting of each Royal athletic team and prize giveaways.”
All participants who come decked out in Warner gear and showing vibrant school spirit will be in the running to win prizes such as an iPad mini, gift cards and other Warner gear. The night will end with a fireworks show on the baseball field behind the Turner Athletic Center. “The Pep Rally has so much potential in uniting the campus, communicating to our athletic teams how much they are appreciated and creating a tradition that we will all be looking forward to every November,” says Myer.
The Pep Rally will take place in the Turner Athletic Center on campus from 8:30-9:30 p.m.
