HEART is a unique interdenominational training center designed to prepare people to serve effectively in much the
third world. Relief and development skills are acquired through "hands-on" experience as well as classroom training.
Students spend their time in a simulated third world village located in sub tropical Florida. This is the only accredited
facility of its type in the Untied States.
The staff at HEART is not only academically qualified, but also has the practical experience gained from actual time spent in
the field. These instructors have truly practiced what they teach in a real world environment.
Students served are from the following fields: Missionaries, christian development workers, Peace Corps Volunteers, Work
Camp groups, and nationals seeking realistic development skills for outreach. Through cooperative agreements with many
other colleges and universities, students may attain credit toward their degrees by attending HEART
HEART does not send out missionaries of it's own. After graduation, we will help you with making contact with mission
agencies seeking trained missionaries. Our students have served with over 50 organizations, in over 60 countries worldwide.
