School of Education - Music Education Grades K-12
Thank you for your interest in Music Education. There are many exciting opportunities for growth and development in this department. Please check out the possibilities.
Our students have many opportunities to practice the musical skills that they learn in the class. The Collegiate Chorale, the Young Americans and the Instrumental Ensemble are three ensembles that student may audition for each fall. Besides great opportunities in travel and performing in various setting, the student also receives a stipend for this commitment.
A Music Major at Warner University should expect to spend time in practice rooms preparing for lessons in both private instruction and group settings. Music Majors are involved in many different aspects of the musical field hence preparing them as a well-rounded musician ready to work in school, church or community settings. Due to the rigor of the music program, our graduates are successful in graduate school as well.
It would be my pleasure to speak with you about the exciting opportunities that Warner University offers in its Fine Arts Department. You may contact me by calling 863-638-7237 or e-mail steven.darr@warner.edu.
