
Academic Skills Center
The Academic Skills Center (ASC) provides a peer tutoring and an academic counseling/support system as well as houses the Office of Disability Services. One-on-on or small group tutorial sessions are available to all Warner students. Tutoring is provided in math, writing, reading, Bible, study and testing skills, science, language, music theory, psychology, education, and history. Tutors will read student papers and projects to assist in the editing and improvement process as well.
Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
Warner University, under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), is committed to providing for the needs of enrolled or admitted students who have documented disabilities. It is the policy of the University to make services available for any student, who, through a recent assessment, can document a disability.
Students who request academic accommodations must register with and provide documentation to the Office of Disability Services located in the Academic Skills Center. To receive accommodations, students must provide each instructor with a copy of the Accommodations Plan prepared by the Coordinator of Disability Services indicating the need and type of accommodation no later than the second week of class.
