Mission Statement



The Learning Resource Center exists as an academic arm of the University to enhance the teaching-learning process of the students, and the scholarly pursuits of faculty.

The Learning Resource Center seeks to accomplish this purpose by:
  • Providing an intellectually stimulating environment for students and faculty, conducive to study and learning.
  • Providing a well-balanced, organized and accessible collection of carefully selected print and non-print materials which support the curriculum and the general interest needs of students and faculty.
  • Providing access to online resources and data bases.
  • Providing instruction in the identification, evaluation and utilization of print, non-print and digital resources.
  • Providing a well qualified staff committed to service of patrons in the best library tradition.
