• One must be logged into the search system in order to access the Help Index. Select "Help-Collections" and then "Help Index" to access online tutorials.

LexisNexis™ Academic

• One must be logged into the search system in order to access the tutorial.
1. Select "Help", then "Researching-The Basics" for a general introduction.
2. Select the link labelled "How Do I?" on the introductory screen to find specific answers to questions concerning the use of the system.
3. For detailed information on how to conduct research, go to: "Conducting Research." This has information on Company, Industry, and Legal Research plus tips on how to write a paper.

ProQuest Direct

• One must be logged into the search system in order to access the tutorial.
  1. Select the "Help" link at the top of the page for general help.
  2. After selecting Help, select the "Basic Search" link for more specific search assistance.
  3. Select "Quick Print Guides" for one page documents on different search options.
  4. Select "Training Resource Center" for in-depth tutorial lessons on using ProQuest.
