FAQ: Graduation Qualifications & Arrangements

Home » Student Services » Office of the Registrar » FAQ: » Graduation Qualifications & Arrangements

In an effort to recognize students in as timely a manner as possible, Warner Southern has two commencement ceremonies each year. The Winter Baccalaureate-Commencement ceremony recognizes graduates who have completed their degree requirements at the close of the Summer or Fall semesters. The May Baccalaureate-Commencement ceremony recognizes graduates who have completed their degree requirements at the close of the Spring semester. If graduates who complete studies in the Summer or Fall semester want or need to participate in the May ceremony following, they may do so by informing the Registrar's Office.

Degrees are posted at the end of the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. Graduates do not receive the diploma and have the degree posted to their transcript until all course work has been completed and entered into the official transcript, until all clearances have been made, and until the Registrar posts the degree on the transcript. Diplomas are then mailed to graduates.
