Students are to apply for graduation the semester before they intend to finish their degree program. The application process includes a degree audit which will alert students to any problems or shortcomings in meeting graduation requirements. The following are necessary conditions for graduation and participation in the commencement ceremony for the Bachelor of Arts degree.

  1. Admission to the major. See department chair or program director if you have questions.
  2. Completion of application for graduation—at least one semester before the commencement ceremony.
  3. Completion of general education, major and minor (if needed) requirements by the commencement date.
  4. Earn at least 128 semester credit hours (64 credit hours for the AA degree)
  5. Have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.00 or higher if required by your major.
  6. Meet the academic residence requirement (at least one year as a full time student).
    1. Receive faculty vote of approval.
    2. Satisfy all financial obligations.
    3. Organizational Management majors must complete all requirements within five (5) years of matriculation.
