Students and faculty from the Exercise & Sport Studies Department and the Department of Teacher Education at Warner University attended the SHAPE (Society of Health & Physical Educators) Florida Convention in St. Pete Beach on October 16.

SHAPE Florida is an affiliate of SHAPE America which is the nation’s largest membership organization of health and physical education professionals. Its mission is to advance professional practice and promote research related to health and physical education, physical activity, dance, and sport.

They discovered valuable and exciting ideas and programs that will enhance their instruction in the classroom and in the community in order to meet the physical activity needs of children and adults of all ages.
