To Our WU Community:
Warner University continues to monitor Hurricane Matthew and is in ongoing contact with authorities from Polk County Emergency Services. As of 2:00 p.m. today, Polk County remains under a Tropical Storm Warning for the time the storm takes to progress past the state.
Because of the forecast wind speeds under that designation, traditional, on-campus classes will not meet on Friday, October 7, 2016. All other operational functions of the institution will continue on that day as normal. Online classes will also continue as normal, according to their established course schedules.
On Friday, we may experience strong winds and heavy rain. We encourage residential students not to leave campus to explore the surrounding area during the Tropical Storm. Please use this time to catch up on your studies.
For further updates, please continue check your Warner University email, as well as Warner University on Facebook and Twitter.
