Tutoring

Tutoring by Appointment

If you would like one-on-one assistance, come to the Tutor Center and ask for an appointment with one of our tutors. Be sure to bring your student ID card. The ASC is located in Room 110 of the Rigel Student Center.

The ASC provides tutoring in the following general education courses*:

ENG0080 Reading Enhancement
ENG0090 Basic English Review
MAT0080 Elementary Algebra with Basic Math Review
MAT1000 Intermediate Algebra
MAT1030 College Mathematics
MAT1040 College Algebra
MAT2000 Statistics/BUS3090 Business Statistics
BSC1010 General Biology
BSC2040 Human Biology
SCI1120 Chemistry I
BST1010 Life of Christ

*based upon the availability of tutors each semester


Drop-in Tutoring

Drop-in tutoring is available if the tutor on schedule has not already accepted an appointment for that time slot. If the tutor is not currently available, please schedule yourself for the next available slot and have a seat in the ASC until the tutor is able to see you.

For all tutoring services, the student must:

• Bring your student ID and sign in at the front desk
• Bring your book and syllabus to the tutoring session
• Be prepared to actively participate in the learning process – the tutors will not do the work for you
