In just over two weeks, the new semester will begin. It’s great to have the energy back on campus with faculty returning today and just last week the Fall athletes came back for pre-season training.
As we start a new academic year we wanted to share some employee updates with you. To the new employees: welcome! To those with new responsibilities and promotions: congratulations!
Dr. Beth Burch, Ph.D. in Botany. She will be the Science Lab Manager and Instructor.
Dr. John Crews, D.V.M. He will be teaching Agriculture courses and coordinating the h.e.a.r.t. program.
Dr. Timothy Dwyer, Ph.D. in Theology. He will be teaching Bible and Church Ministry courses.
Ms. Nicole Schanke, MA in Biology. She will be teaching General Biology courses.

Adam Novak – Resident Director for the Men of Williams Hall. He and his wife, Bree, are Warner family and are excited to return to be a part of our Student Life Team.
Alicia Bush, Resident Director for Holland Hall, Master’s Degree in Applied Theatre from London’s Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Alicia will also be teaching Oral Communication this semester.
Lauren Lightsey, Resident Director for Raines and Fulton Halls, soon to complete a Master’s Degree in Christian Leadership from Moody Bible Institute. Lauren will also be teaching UNV 1000.
Zachary Anderson – Strength and Conditioning Coach. Comes to Warner after a three year NFL career playing for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and the Carolina Panthers. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University.
Nathan Arambala – Trainer, working with football. He comes to Warner from Cal-Baptist after completing his undergraduate at St. Mary’s where he played soccer.
Toni Bolar – Trainer, working with men’s and women’s volleyball. She is from Winston-Salem, NC. Studied at UNC – Charlotte and the University of Memphis. Toni was a swimmer.
Samantha Brown – Trainer, working with men’s and women’s soccer and baseball. She comes to Warner from Emory and Harvey and originally from Memphis, TN.
D.J. Elmore – Trainer, working with football, track and cross country. She is from Columbus, OH where she studied at Capital University and the Ohio State University.
Brittany Throne – Trainer, working with football and softball. She completed her Master’s degree at Cal Baptist and her undergraduate at UC – Davis where she was a part of the rowing team.
Jonathan Buckel – Coach Buckel returns to Warner after a lapse of judgement led him to a university on the east side of the county. He is a graduate assistant with the football program.
Rachel Smith – promoted to Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for Business and Finance, Greg Rodden.
Robbie Meeks – new hire in the Physical Plant department.
Kevin Jones, now the Associate Vice President for Admissions as well as the Athletic Director.
Paizley Whidden, new Admissions Counselor
Hannah Sikes, new Admissions Counselor and Visit & Event Coordinator
Jeanne DeVall, Royal Services (reassignment and promotion)
Torshanda Howard, Royal Services (reassignment and promotion)
Bob Mobley, Dean of Admissions, with additional responsibilities with Online and Graduate Studies
