On March 5, Warner University Alumni department hosted the first alumni event of the year! About 75 alums gathered at The Poor Porker in Lakeland for a time of mingling and reminiscing. We had those from the class of 1974 in attendance — all the way to the most recent class of 2019!

Mark and Vickie Shaner joined us from Vero Beach and Bucky and Cathy Meadows along with Mike and Tammy Criner joined us all the way from Springfield, Ohio!

It was a great time connecting with different alums from such a diverse group. There were lawn games such as Jenga, Connect Four, and corn-hole to play all across the venue and a full charcuterie/appetizer table to snack from! We also had giveaways going all night long and alumni items for purchase such as t-shirts and license plates.

The group laughed and shared great memories all evening about what adventures they got into in Lake Wales. It was definitely a successful event and we look forward to planning more as our calendar allows. Thank you so much to everyone who showed up, we can’t wait for the next one! If you are attending the 2020 Church of God Regional Convention in Anderson, Indiana this summer, make sure to come to our Warner University Alumni reception there!
